Default AKA Impacts vs Revolvers 2.0

Hello guys, Im gonna race this weekend on a pretty dusty bumpy track.
My question is what tire will be better for these conditions?
2 weeks ago I ran my buggy with green subcultures on a very hot weather (90F) and was tractions rolling alot lol.
Thats beacuase i didnt have something else, guess my next set will be in soft compound
Back to the title what would you choose Impacts or Revolvers 2.0?

Thanks alot

I haven't tried the revolvers 2.0, but I have been using impacts on hard pack clay tracks and they work great!! If its 90 degrees I would use medium impacts.

My choice is impacts over revolvers. But if there isthat much dust on top of the track I would say cityblock or caliber wod work better. I do like the impact tires.

Thanks guys anyone else that tryed both tires?
I dont wanna use medium compound because that traction isnt that high and the tire wear is minimal..

If the track temp gets really hot, then you want to go to a medium compound tire. A soft tire can start feeling greasy.

I personally run soft in the summer and it gets 115 in.the summer .unless the track has high bite I don't think medium is better

Default yep

I've tried mediums so many times, they usually suck...and I'm in Texas, you know it's hot....

I've used both tires, and the pro lines are square and the impacts are rounded so the impacts get the nod, less twitchy....They both last the same, not really long, and the aka rims are better and the rubber stays glued to them....... I try to use enduros unless it's just freakin slick, then I will switch to impacts...

The new Blockade is the closest to the Impact. The Blockade isn't as edgy as the Revolver 2.0. Basically it has the speed of the Hole Shot with bigger pins for better wear. It also comes with the new softer inserts.

If the track is really loose you may want a bigger pin tire like the Sniper or Bowtie.

Thats exactly what i was talking about, the mediums usually will be useful on tracks with tons of traction-no dust conditions..
Guess ill get the imapcts hope they do well on those dusty conditions.

Thanks alot guys!

Yeah the Blockade are very similar to the Impacts!
Im not really worried about the pin size since the nat champ won with it on the same track last season, some other guys did well with it too

if things get dusty, don't forget to pack some cityblocks. the impacts will be good in the groove. but get out in the dust and you will struggle. yesterday we had hard moderately bumpy track with dust in 90 degree temps. soft cities and soft red foam = dialed.

if the surface is real abrasive then mediums will work better. if traction rools occur due to catching ruts, put wide hubs on the car.

the only tires I carry in my bag is soft or super soft impacts or citiblocks. Citiblocks work on basically every surface in my area
