also wondering if there was a better afordable engine out there, that i can swap the dtx .18 with.

Are parts interchangeable with the electric version as far as arms etc...?

Is tower the only place to get parts for these trucks (besides ebay)?

Tower and Ebay are the only places I used to get parts. I came across a few lesser known sites but for the quick shipping it's worth it for tower.
