Differential Gear Problem
Hi All
Please see attached image, what do you think that cause this to happened? This is the center differential of my Hyper 8 buggy. This gear is facing the rear differential. This is the second time it happened.
I have totally rebuild the center differential with all new parts after the first time it happen. And after just one run, the gear became like that. When the gear is in this state, since this gear is the one that facing the rear differential, the rear wheel will not move if I open the throttle. The front wheel is spinning but the rear wheel just don't move. By then, I know the gear is striped.
Since this is the second time it happened and I have used all new parts to rebuild, I am quite sure that the problem might not lay in the center differential itself. It might be something else that caused it. Can be the clutch bell, or others.
I am using 3-5-1 differential oil the first time and use 3-7-1 for the second time.
Anyone got this experience? Please share with me...
Thanks...

Thank you all for the reply. All parts in the rebuild are new. Build according to manual too. Anyway, I will put in more shim to make it more secure.
