Default having issues with the ofna chrome top

this box outlasted my associated box by far but im having a big problem with it,
it simply doesnt draw any power
ive cleaned the connections and think it might be the switch
is there any way to straight wire this to find out?

can't quite remember what kind of switch was on mine when new, but if there is only two wires going to the switch, just unhook them and tie them together.

Did you check the lid switch? The washer that makes connection between the two contacts when the lid is pushed down. Many times, the contacts and washer arc enough to melt and burn the contact points. Had this happen on my chrome top and Ofna truggy box.
