Big Bore Shock???
Are they testing a 4mm shaft and bigger bore that the FTE ones?
It would be similar to the Losi 8ight then.

The factory sent out a few prototypes a few months ago. We recieved one set but only one set of springs.
The shafts are the 3.5mm and pistons sizes 15mm. The shocks are different from the Losi's.
Weve tried it on the buggy and the truck. The springs suppied were the hard ones which suites the Truggy better. The shock definitely improves the handling over the rough stuff and jumping is better. Its too earlier to make any definite claims but I am confident its going to be an overall improvement in handling.
Our team rider will be racing his truck with these shocks at the SA Pro series in Newcastle this weekend.

Hey guy's, had a few questions.

Is anyone running the Carbon shoes and if so how do you like them? Also, what springs are you running with them.

Are stainless screw kits a good idea in an 1/8 scale buggy (RCScrews kit for Ex Just looking to pick up an extra set of screws for the Jammin buggy, and came across the X1CR RC Screws kit and figured it would at least give an extra one of every bolt on the car(all the stock screws would be spares of course)

ive been running the carbon shoes for awhile now with 1.0 springs...the tracks in my area have high speed jumps, so i look for a lil slip....as far as wear i have gotten as much as 3 to 3.5 gallons out of one set....

as far as the stainless screws....i guess i have not had any problem with stripping or breaking, so myself i do not find any reason to spend extra money on an entire screw set, but to each there own....

Hey guy's, got a quick question.. or two.

I rebuilt my clutch (just took everything apart and gave it a good cleaning) and when I reassembled everything I noticed some play in the clutch bell. It is a front to back end play, not a side to side. I have never noticed this before, but is this normal. Everything went back together the same way (flywheel, flywheel nut, washer/shim on outside of clutch nut, clutch shoe shims/washers, clutch shoes, bearing, end bell, bearing on the outside, than a washer and screw).

I took the flywheel off to clean the clutch shoe dust out, so im wondering if when I pulled down on flywheel with the nut, if it just pulled down a little more than when I built it last time, which would give me more free play? I have replaced the clutch bearings after every day at the track and have not ever noticed the free play, however I have not taken the shoes/flywheel off since I built the car (it has about 1 gallon on it).

Also, guy's that are running carbon shoes, are you running the little shim under each shoe/flywheel pin?

The play on the beel is not a major issue. .5mm play is fine. If more just space it with shims. As for shims on carbon shoes. I have not used it. It wont fit as carbons take the full length of the pins. Its mostly used on alumium shoes.

I could not test the CRT .5 on the track as it was too muddy.I did however take this little clip. This thing is nippy.
