Basically same buggy with some hopups, CNC lower B block,
Big Bore Shocks, 5mm CNC Towers and it should only be about 40-50 bucks more.

Speed Bump, you seem to be the first person that I have come across that actually has info on the new buggy. Please share anything else you know. I am waiting (not so) patiently for it, but every time i call ofna they won't say anything. Do you know the release date? If it will come with the thicker chassis? One piece motor mount? Screw pins? I'm sitting here with my credit card in hand. lol. thanks for anything else you might know.

p.s. if anyone else knows anything please share.

rccars4scott,

There was talk about it being released this week or next, but you know how that goes.

I was told it will not come with the thicker milled chassis or one pice engine mount.

I was told it will come with the captured hinge pins and the things I posted above.

I can't wait to get one myself.

Ok what engine should I be looking at for my X1-CR?? the track is (I think) 65x200?? I'm pretty sure the straight is at least 180' long... I will be using a JP-2 pipe and mugen 1.1 clutch springs with the stock blue aluminum shoes.

I'd like to keep the engine cost under $200-$250.....

I'm pretty new to the .21 game so if you could include a link to where I can buy the engine from it would be great.... mainly because the engines call letters (ws7, o-1, vzb) might as well be Greek!!! suggestions on what size clutchbell to use with the engine would be great..... OH and i'm not looking at any used engines right now.... (I don't trust 'em)

Thanks guys!!!!

The B3 is a great engine but I would not put it on a track with a 180' straight. For the price range you are looking at and the pipe you have the RB S7II would fit the bill. If you had a 086 or a 2050 I would throw in the Collari B7 as well. If I had to choose between the two I would pick the B7.
