does anybody have a set up for a short, dusty/hard packed track with little(small) jumps?

also, are the stock diff fluid weights pretty good, or do they need to be changed?

I have just finished building my X1-CR. I noticed that my centre differential leaked some oil when I roll the car quickly on the ground, so much so that it even managed to oil my spur gear. I haven't even start running my engine yet. Is that normal?

this is abnormal... the conclusion is u have done wrong when fixed it, maybe no gasket, no o-ring, no set screw or the 4 screw not tight enough.

macnkitty - I posted my setup not too long ago..it should work well as a starting point basically anywhere. Try it and let me know what you want the car to do differently.

Aaron, i have looked back a few pages and don't see your set-up. i dont want to read about 40 pages of this thread to find out, so if you can give me a quick set-up that would be great. also, i read that the NEWER jammin kits will have the improved brakes, and i just ordered mine on tuesday. do you think that it will have the upgrade brakes?
