The problem I had with the E-clips is when the front wheels turned all the way the inside of the wheel would rub off the e-clip. This was with wheels other then Ofna because the car had a lot of steering throw. The captured pins are not stronger, as a matter of fact I took them of the rear hubs because they bent. The captured pins are better but if you don't feel like spending the extra money I found that the Hot Bodies Lightning 2 front hub clips fit perfect and they are designed with only 1 e-clip and the other end is like a flat head of a nail, and they only cost like $2.00 and worked great.

If the E-clips start giving me trouble I'll change em over to the screw type.

I just finished the buggy, well actually I just need the engine which will be here tommorow. Check it out.

Are the diffs in a Jammin the same as a 777? I have both Buggys and the diffs look the same except the 777 has a front locker diff.

Judging by the fact that the torsen diffs made by Jammin for the X1 also fit the 7.5 and 777 according to the Jammin site I would say they are the same. The centre diff seems to be the same as well, although the Jammin has 2 more teeth than the Kyosho, but Jammin also sells a 46t version as well.

Have you guys seen the new longer shocks, I just noticed these on the Jammin site. I'm assuming that these are for use with the 5mm tower on the upper row of holes. Its strange though, they look as if there are no shock boots, just some kind of seal to keep the dirt away from the the O-rings and possibly clean the shafts at the same time.

i think this is far more better than the standard rubberboots dust cover. it can protect from dust and clean the shock shaft at once. the rubberboots only cover the shock but cannot clean it..
