Have you run 1/8th scale before? It's absolutely amazing...

Default Jammin X1- so close yet so far

'sup? I'm new to this forum and look forward to posting here. I was reffered by Andrew over at the Ofna forums. I recently recieved my jammin X1CR kit. I haven't been able to start building it yet, but the weekend looks promising. Does anyone have a link or site that I can find setups for the X1CR? Or maybe Aaron can help me on this? Thanks in advance.

Sorry about being a bit slow..yesterday was very busy and I never made it onto my computer (what a shocker!).

The stock setup for the X1 is very good out of the box, but I'd use 40 wt. oil and 5-7-2 diff oils instead of what is recommended in the manual.

Check out www.jamminproducts.com for setup sheets soon, I know the web guys are working on it.

McCoy MC59, OD99 is ok but McCoy seems to idle a little better.

I've had extremely good luck with the OD99s.. I think they create a better idle than any plug I've used.. even the mc59s.. when you change a plug you may have to retune.. I've seen so many people that buy so many plugs because their engine isn't working correctly with the one that came with their engine.. but they don't retune!! so, they never get the result they should out of a certain plug.. just a suggestion

I would not recomend using a Mc 59 in any .21 engine. It is a hot plug and is suitable for .12. Hot plugs have finer, more fragile elements are are more likely to end up in your exhaust port. Not to mention that a hot plug advances timeing and causes pre-ignition.
