I have just heard that Martin Wolhuter and Ian Haley from Australia have made it through to the final of FEMCA Championships at Malang, Indonesia against Hara, Osaka, Surikan and other top asian drivers. Hopefully results will be available very soon .

raced my Jammin Saturday night and snapped my front shock tower in the first minute of the main. being the die hard that i am, i pushed on with no front suspension and held 5th for 7 more minutes until my front driveshaft popped out. I sure hope these new towers come out soon

Hi Guys,

I came across an IFMAR 1/8 offroad article which states a minimum weight of 3200 grams for 1/8 off-road buggy.

Is this with everything in (bodies, tyres, battery etc...) except fuel ? Mine weighs about 3500 gm, that's 300 grams to shave off which is no mean feat ?

Thanks for sharing !

kyosho lost on their own race.. meaning plenty of car out there is more competitive then them esspecially the jammin's. seen another result that jammin winner of the x-ray race leaving all the luxurious xb8 behind..

pros:
low price
competitive with all other pro buggies
comes ready to race
very few things to upgrade

cons:
brake setup has issues
front shock towers break easily
shock pistons need to be drilled
stock clutch kinda sucks

The front shock towers do not break easily. I think you would have to pretty much flip it while going full speed to completley break it or hit it just right.
