why a spare engine??? I run the same engine all season. Pinch it and run it the next season and then buy another. Byrons 30/11 race blend fuel. RB and OS V-spec if you can get one with good bearings.

well because if I have engine problems during the day and where i race things go fast so I don't generally have time to figure stuff out that coupled with the fact I am not the worlds greatest tuner I'd rather have an engine on the side in which i can just toss it in and go

About 4-6 gallons a year, figure about 1/2 gallon a day of racing for one engine, in Kansas, USA.

The sponcered guys are the only ones I have seen CF towers on buggies and truggies, same with the alum. drivelines.
All the kits have the same alum shock towers as before, that I have seen.

so how did a non sponsored guy get a production model buggy that isnt due for release for at least a month?

I just find it hard to believe that the new buggy wont be able to convert. If the biggest change would be the chassis (longer in the rear) it shouldnt take a new radio tray setup. I base this from the extended chassis BCE made for the Mugen 5r buggy. Same concept. I guess only time will tell.

I am guessing it's like the truggy which is why there is no direct conversion but it can be done i am sure just buy all the new stuff on ebay and start building...

so what's different? longer chassis, new driveshafts, different chassis braces?,different fuel tank?,new style lightweight center diff mount?,what else....

bulks,a-arms,shock tower, shocks, are all the same right?

You can convert it, but by the time you buy 2 sets of ring and pinions, the different engine mount, the shorter center and longer rear center drive shafts, the center diff gear, new fuel tank, the upper radio tray, then the chassis, I am sure I missed other things, you should just by the kit for that price.

no body said anything about a NON sponsored guy with the new X2 buggy, I miss read your post buggy X2, not truggy X2, but the same aplies, only seen CF towers on the sponcered Truggy drivers rides, the rest of the X2 Truggies I have seen have alum. so I would exspect the same will be for the buggy.

In Spain, the distributor is comming out with an X2 conversion kit for about $130 special offer, and then $200 regular price. It includes the new chasis, drive train and all the parts mentioned.

It's wonderfull offer, but I think I'll run my X1 for a time and then get the new X2 kit when it's avaiable.....
