well i ran the 16mm shocks today started off the oils 40 in the front 27.5 in the rear with silver springs. i ended up switching to the white springs and im going to be going down to 35 in the front 27.5 in the back for the next race as the front was too stiff and i lost alot of steering but it handled the jumps great i cant wait to get a good setup the buggy stays flat over the rough sections

Default Light 6061 aluminum Shock Ball End Posts

Thanks cheescake, but those are not the ones. I am looking for the light weight 6061 aluminum versions of those. Anybody have an OFNA part #?

Next question:

Anyone know if the Losi LiPo receiver pack will fit in the X1 CR tray? I measued and it seems like it would be a wrong fit. Not positive though.

Also, anyone know what decent LiPo batteries will fit into the CR tray?

Thanks,
Mike

I have experience exceptional value from my CR. For the 3 years I have had it, I have only broken a single lower B block, which at the time was plastic and now all the kits come with aluminum units, and a shock body (it was really cold and the metal was rather brittle). It is tough as nails, and other buggies have broken when they collide with mine!
It does not steer quite as aggressively as other buggies that I have driven, but at the same time it is easy to tune it to steer well. Those other buggies take a lot of time to tune in, and most of them have a very narrow sweet spot in the handling department.
You can drive it very aggressively because it is very stable at all speeds. It will not throw a fit when you land poorly or enter a whoops section bad.

So I'm assuming the #41010 standoffs are not aluminum? The picture looks like plastic, but you sometimes can't tell in pictures. FWIW it looks like the pictures on eBay auctions are all the same as far as parts go. Do they make the aluminum ones yet?

I think the 41010 are just the normal steel ones. This is what I am talking about:

Copy and pasted into a translator and this is what it came up with for Chinese. (other languages didn't translate well)

The great wild goose company insisted that takes to you the best RC product.

Promotes the #391 aluminum alloy to shock proof the support newly, uses the high quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, to presents perfectly again by the CNC lathe processing. This section of new featherweight aluminum alloy shocks proof the support to be possible to reduce your 16mm large capacity shock absorber the weight, simultaneously increases the shock absorber the service life.

the #391 aluminum alloy shocks proof the support (4/packages) right now to go on the market!
