Has anyone tried running thier shock set up on thier Jammin buggy similar to the RC8? I was wondering if I increased the shock angle like all the way out on the arm and all the way in on the bottom hole in the shock tower if the buggy would handle better?

Everyone I know that has switched to the RC8 says it feels really good on the track.

Dont be fooled with the new cars out there. The X1 is still the best out there. Most guys switched thinking they will get a better car.
The X1 is just an awesome car.
For me I'll stick to my X1. I am still looking for a better handling car. Cant find it.
For me I wouldnt bother getting changing my brand. I recently bouch the M1b Turbo.
SOme things you love generally for me the X1 handles better and is easier to setup. The X1 FTE as is, is kicker. Any other mods is not going to make you significantly quicker.
Sorry guys but thats the way I roll.

The shock angles on the RC8 are very similar to the shock angles on most of the other cars. There is a picture floating around on the internet that shows a 'normal' buggy shock geometry overlaid onto the RC8 shock geometry and it's very close to the same.

Hi Tabushi
Been around nothing much happening. Havent been able to put the rubber to the dirt.
I finally have my own track and will be working on it later today. I'll send you some pics later.

You know their isnt much more to say about the X1 just drive.

Hope the kids are doing well. Baby must be getting big. Almost big enough to hold the remote

Have you found a good spring setup for your new BB shocks.
I have so many spring options white, silver, grey, yellow and blue.
Currently using blue front and silver rear. 45wt allround.

Default My first A final!!

Hi guys!! just a couple lines to let you know I finally got my X1 into an A final!!

Just a local championship race, but the setup changes I mentioned a few days ago and a bit of semi-consistent driving had me going strong, 'till.....my clutch bell got lose!!!

You can imagine the rest: just envy on the sideline!!!

But at least now we know what it takes to get up there playing with the big boys!!!

Keep Jammin'!!!

how often do you all replace your 8X16mm bearings? i have had my jammin for over three years, and most of the wheel/diff bearings are the originals. i have replaced the ones that get fouled and loose their precision, but the most of them are still fine. i don't maintain them much, but i take off the seals and clean/re-oil them occasionally. would it be worth it to replace all the bearings with new ones for this coming season?

I woud go for better shock towers and updated servo saver, Also get the 16mm bb's. I just installed KhZ towers and steering top plate on my X1 and Lunsford titanium turnbuckles.........still no engine, no race until April, so I'm still tweaking buggy for the outdoor season in April, it has all brand new plastic minus the c-hubs

Well guys,

Im preparing my Jammin FTE for a big race in Venezuela next week (3 day event), first time running the Super Big Bore Shocks. Not very positive on the eventual results of the race because im out of shape with my fingers on the radio but will do my best :
