I might try the lightened 48T spur and diff cups...a lighter drive train is always better!!!

The cups would be difficult, but I might try "lightening" an old 48T drilling holes justlike the one in Nitro House. it's alwways worth the try????

I'm using the lightweight Kyosho one.
Fits the X1CR just fine.
Besides that, I'm using the aluminum cross pins in the differentials.
I'm still planning to try the lightweight front CVD's from Kyosho which is also a direct fit. Don't know whether the rear one will fit though.

This would help the engine to spool up much faster!!

and the new updated rear hub carriers have more material around the hingepin, much stronger from what I have been told. The antenna nut is just a knurled tightening nut for the antenna that jammin sells for the radio box

Rallyebmx,

I'm using OFNA, which is made from aluminum.
Comparing with the steel one, those are much lighter.
It will wear quicker, however, it will hold quite well when you are NOT doing donuts all the time.
Quicker wear is one of the consequences when having light weight parts installed!!

Pwnzor,

I haven't got the chance to measure the length of the uni's front and rear.
Will do that coming weekend and will let you know.
I also read in one of the thread that a lighter center uni can be acquired by using the dog bones from Hyper 8. However, you have to change the outdrives of the center diff as well AND the center diff holder.
