Chad Bradley on the sgrid.com forums said that no X2 Buggy on plans at least for 2008, but jammin will come out with a couple of more optionals ...

New version only the truggy

Anyone running the taller losi 8T wheels & tires on their Jammin CRT? Would I need to change my center gear to run those?

Yikes!! you're moving to the dark side of the force??? HEHEHEHE just kidding!! I've had a few friends do the same and it's our joke!!

Know what would be great?? You could drop by once in a while and give us your feelings on how both buggies compare....

I moved from an X1CR to an Xray XB8EC about 4 months ago and found it handled eratically and it didn't matter how you set it up it did not make a difference so I sold it , Since selling it Xray have advised that they had some issues with their diffs which were causing handling issues so this may have been the issue as most of the Xrays I have seen handle well.

I now drive a Kyosho MP777WC.

I dont feel there is much difference between this and the X1CR, infact you can swap a number of parts between them without needing to modify anything. The one thing I like better about the Kyosho is the quality of the parts, the drive shafts and drive cups seem to wear out far too fast on the X1CR which was the main reason for me wanting to move to another car.

I'm not trying to bag the X1CR as if you can afford to replace parts regularly then it is a very, very competitve buggy. The Kyosho parts are a little more expensive but they seem to last way longer.

Just my 2 cents

Does anyone remember which universals you could swap between the X1CR and SP2?

I think the front one from a SP2/WC fits straight into the X1CR. I will check and confirm next time I have it apart.
I found the drive cups would also wear, They look ok looking from the outside but look into the cup from the end and you may see that they are worn deeper in the slot.

Default X1

It's a shame that more European top racers aren't interested in the X1 CR, as I find it sturdy and very competitive, but they all seem to prefer Mugen, Kyosho, XRay, Losi..... ...arround here at least (Spain).
