Scott is right about the battery box lid. I am pretty sure Amain has it and it is the same part number as the original part.

They come separate....but if u really need to test it try the Losi springs....Black, White, Gray...because of X1 weight is different from Losi 8B.

thanks,
Tabushi the kit comes excluding the springs. You get white(soft) and Nickle(hard)

I have been pulling my hair out to get the new shocks to work for me. Everyone who has been using it says its great.
Recommended is White springs, 1.4mm pistons and 40F and 30 Rear.
I found that this is very soft and softens more when you drive it. I found it made the cars handling in the rough better but turning and jumping was inconsistent and I just coudnt get it to perform the way I liked it.
I did comparisons with thw old BB's and on the track I found the old BB's better allround.
What I recommend is a harder spring. I hav not felt the Losi springs but I would like some feedback from other guys that has tried it.

Thanks guys,

Now im working in Colombia a local importer asked for help to set up an offroad line of products and he just received confirmation from OFNA USA that can distribute ofna products here, and as he offered me some kind of sponsorship in exchange of my help, i will order this week the new shocks so maybe in 10 more days i will have them with me, i have the part numbers but didnt knew that i had to order the springs separately.

Now, on the sgrid forums Chad Bradley had been giving this kind of info about the new shocks and spring selection :

cya !!

Thanks for the info Tabushi. That is the settings I have been using.
Anyways I have a prepoduction harder set on its way to me.
I also heard that a harder spring is in production for the trucks so we should have it soon.
I'll wait till you get yours to get your input.

i run on a smooth, usually dry track. i have often found myself wanting more lateral grip, because my buggy tends to slide whenever i want to turn in. i have tried using a softer spring, but that doesn't help much. a few months back i got a full set of the thickest sway bars i could, thinking that it would help to keep me planted on my smooth and level track. could it be having the opposite effect, and hurt my traction? what would happen if i took off the sway bars all together? should i only use they if i have a problem with traction roll?

Thumbs up

Swaybar will lessen body roll which will help you to go through chicanes faster (sorry guys, I'm coming from on road world ).
In turns, body roll will provide traction, the wanted lateral grip.
When using swaybar, having less body roll will also create less lateral traction!!! So it's the one or the other.
Try using thinner swaybars or just take it off.

Does anyone have a good setup for leisure hours indoor track in Joliet, IL? I thought that possibly the mugen style front end would work good?

Thanks...

Has anyone heard anything about an X2 buggy. I'm looking at the improvements to the Truggy and I can see some cross over benefits. I've heard rumors and read some here but I'm just curious if anyone has any links or otherwise believable news?
