Quick question and need some help. The breaks on my X1-CR dont seem to work. I think I might have gotten fuel on them but I dont know. I'm going to clean them prity soon now but was wondering, what breaks are you guys running? I herd that Matrix makes some but not sure about that. Help much appreciated.

Hi Noah R, I found the standard brakes were differcult to get set up right. I went to single fibreglass Brake disks and never had any issues from that point on. They are uneffected by fuel spills.
If you replace your brake disks with these after market ones, you need to make sure that the brake calipers do not have any fibre pads glued to them. You want to use just the metal brake calipers directly against the brake disks.
Here is a link to the ones I ran

Thanks much. I cleaned the pads off and tightend the bolt a bit and they should work untill I have a chance to get new pads. Those seem to be very interesting. I'll have to get a set of those. Thanks much.

I tried this before and it came with alot of smudges. I had to put alot of stickers to hide all my mistakes. This is my second attempt. Used liquid mask this time.
Its my countries flag. Hope you like it.

I havent had my cars on the dirt for a while now. Been raining out. I hope the weather holds this weekend so I can get some track time.

Default Pivot Ball Suspension System

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey

Has anyone tried the Pivot Ball Suspension System for buggy???

No.379 Pivot Ball Suspension System (For:X1CR)
Many of drives have asked us to manufacture a Pivot Ball Steering system to upgrade the X1-CR. We have finished production and the No.379 conversion kit and it is now available. As you can see all the parts will be available in a neatly packed package so the driver can keep all the parts together and use them when he feels the track conditions are favorable for this type of steering. The No.379 will give the drivers a lot more flexibility when more camber or castor is required. 12.15.2006

(Source Hong Nor website)

Any reviews?

I thinking of trying them out.

I think a few of the guys on here bought the PBS to try it out. If you look on the Ask Chad Bradley forum on Neobuggy.net He gives his input on it.

With the way the jammin turns why would you want to change it? The only thing the PBS will do it take away steering and make the car less reactive. It will be more stable but is it worth it?

The PBS actually give it more steering.

If I remember right Chad said he felt it wasnt consistent from track to track like the c hub.

AZRCaddict - that what i thought. It might give more steering.

I find that the Hong Nor steering get loose with the normal one. SO i thought by putting the PBS it will take it away.
