I fitted a set to my Jammin. I cannot say I noticed a difference in performance. It seems the drivetrain is alot smoother.

Thanks for the reply jerseyboy. seems like the $150 may be more well spent elsewhere.

You would be better off with the alloy centre diff mount for that much money.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay, been a little busy lately.
I have attached a couple of pics showing the 7th hole in the rear shock tower and also the machining required to allow the inner ball joint to pivot freely.
I hope this helps others.

Did some research:
With the no7 hole it increases the upper rear camber link. This has a huge effect on rollcentre. The longer the link the more the car will roll in mid corner giving better stability and traction.
On loose tracks with low traction this mod will give better traction in the turns.
Hi Crocket. Maybe you missed my post. I thinned out the plastic mount.
Racing this Sunday. I will let you guys know the difference.

just a note to jammin racers. i got a tip from another racer to cut a angle on the lip that the droop screws contact on the chassis (ie chafer the esge so as to create a slope downwards) this allows you to have more droop and more travel.

1mm shaved of on the chassis equals like 2 cm or more of travel on the wheel end!

Default Jammin x1.

Hey guys. Justed picked up and used Jammin x1 FTE . This is my first kick at nitro off-road racing..
I have done some reading on the Jammin and it seems to me the best bang for buck.
I wanted to know what are the week links and what are the common high end upgrades??
Common tire choices? (also looking for some cheap 50% tread plus practice tires)
And if i could get sets up for loose low traction conditions..

Nick

wahhhh.... 2nd place is better than not start at all....
congrats on the 2nd place
it seems that Jammin can stay forever in the top podium... Great. Check Chad Bradley at the recent Proline Nitro Maxx Challenge 2007 ... he's always in the top 3
