They have RC tracks in grand forks What are you doing up there? My uncle is up there going to school

I've been running the FTE knuckles with no problems. I had KHZ knuckles on my Kyosho and they held up great.

Quick question guys. Has anyone heard of Jammin coming out with a new buggy anytime soon? I have my choices narrowed down to the mbx5r and the FTE Jammin but I don't want to buy a buggy that will be replaced with a new version in a couple of months. Thanks for your help.

Nope. No new buggy in the works. Just more updated/upgraded option parts for the FTE.

By the way guys I have bought and tested almost every major buggy that i could find and so far the Jammin is really the nicest. I have tried Losi 8B, Kyosho SP2WC, CEN Matrix and now the jammin. I am putting together an MBX5R and we will see how it fares against the Jammin.
Yoz... JAMMIN all the way...

I have found that the rear suspension tends to bind up over the day and causes the handling to change. I dont think this is an X1CR issue as most cars are effected by dusty tracks.

I think the guys that are fitting the Pivot Ball front suspension will have even worse issues on dusty tracks because as the suspension binds it not only effects the handling but simply by design it is going to also bind the steering response.
Played with various oils and springs. Red spring with 35wt oil in rear seem to work ok.
I'll play some more and let you know.
Currently 50F and 35 R red spring.

Hi Joneh
Its kinda slow my side as well. Looks like a quite time for RC. At least our side.

My racing has been on a bit of a low. Just seem to find it hard to put up some good consistant laptimes.
Hows the baby comin along. Keeping you away from the Rc I presume.

Has anyone used the no 7 hole on the rear upper link of the X1. The extra hole that Chad Bradley uses.
I have not heard the explanation why this seems to work better.

Hi Jerseyboy,
I recently tried the 7th hole in the rear shock tower. I dont know the science behind it (maybe its just psychological) but it seemed to help settle the rear of the car down powering out of corners.
It seems to be working for me as I TQ'ed in the weekend by 12 seconds and won the 20 min A-main by over 2 laps.

NOTE: if you do decide to modify the shock tower you will also need to machine the rear shock tower mount to allow the rear camber links room to pivot, A dremel did the trick for me.

Good luck guys......Dave
