ok i have a quick question. i ran my jammin fte at the last LRRCC clubby in Sydney NSW and for all 3 qualifiers my front left cvd (buggy wing closest to you) kept popping out when i landed a heavy jump (ie at full compression)

why is this? and how do i stop it?

i stopped this from happening by winding in my front top camber link all the way in, but this sort of defeits the purpose of having a camber link right?

it seems like one of the outdrives from the diff on one side is shorter. are ther longer versions available? is it possible to put centre diff outdrives (if these are longer that is) on the front?)

it sh*t me all day cuz i'd do half a lap, reach the bumpy back straight and bang! the cvd would pop out!

also, on a blue groove track what camber do you run? and on a damp track (suitable to crime fighters) what camber do you run? the track is pritty tight, but with a half the corners being a medium throttle type corners

also, just a note, i installed longer shock shaft ball ends on the front after these issues, and it didn't really fix it, all that fixed it was winding int he camber links all the way

TomB, did you install the universals, with the 2 bumps in the center of the shaft, in the front. There are 2 with smooth shafts belong in the rear and 2 with bumps belong in the front.

Thats an easy mistake to do as the instructions dont specify front or rear. As you stated should be bullet proof now.

Default Feedback on Jammin PBS

Hi guys. This weekend I tested the PBS front suspension for the X1. I did not change anything from my C-hub setup I had wrt shock oils etc. All I did was fit the PBS and made my front toe out close to 0 as I know toe out will give even more steering.
First time out on the track I felt like the car was too responsive on steering. This was due to the fact that I wasnt used to the steering I have now.
The car goes great WOW. the PBS gives a new meaning to hugging the pipe. The X1 is a good handler as is with the c-hub. I feel the PBS takes the X1 to the next level. I am sure some may not agree but it is impossible to think their is no improvement. I can take turns tighter clsoe wide turns quicker and overall the car goes great. The major improvement for me is that when you overshoot a turn and then have to take it wide, you can cut the arc smaller and turn in tight. Definitely running tighter lines.
So forr those that wanted to know, its definitely an improvement. I had no problems with durability. The X1 is still a tank.
I have a video clip but size is an issue. Maybe I can load it somewhere. any suggestions?

hey... thats a great review. i might try one. i like aggresive steering. more is always better. thats why they created KO Propo Helios radio for me to lessen it. kekeke.

how big the file? i need that file. valuable. really valuable. upload to youtube or google video.

I'd estimate 40 to 60 dollars.

Iíll second that. The PBS is great. Not that I had any real complaints with the C-Hub, but the PBS is just smoother and more consistent. It makes the car easier to drive IMO. This was the first weekend where I had the opportunity to run it for a complete race day and I was really happy with it. Retail price in the U.S. is about $72.00.
