That car fits into the same market..people looking to be different and competitive. I know XRay has switched distributors and I'm not sure how that will pan out, but the car looks very good.

You can find OFNA parts almost anywhere!

They had the jammin ar at the Ofna Challenge. I was only out there yesterday but the OFNA crew was looking good...Coleman was running the Hyper car of course and someone had the X1. I didnt pay attention to who it was but all of the big manufacturers had cars there.... Kyosho, Mugen and Ofna. There was a Xray but he was a local driver...

Plenty of good competition.... Kortz, Degani, Coleman, Wheeler etc etc

Since one has mentioned it I'll be the first. The Jammin car is not an OFNA car. Jammin is ver sensitive about this fact. It's designed by Jay and made over seas. It's only distributed by OFNA.

Hong Nor and Ho bao also sell their cars under their own names in Japan, Ofna is just a US importer.

HoBao and HongNor are Taiwanese-based. Their buggies are sold under their own names locally. Some Japanese brands like Mugens and HPIs are also manufactured in Taiwan, just fyi.

I was going for the XB8 (for the XRay reputation), but local pricings of the Hyper 7 and X1-CR are just too attractive. I guess I'm gonna have a tough time choosing between the two. Hyper 7 already proven itself, how about the X1-CR? Any unique features of it?

The X-1 was designed from the ground up to be competitive against the best cars in the world, by a couple of the most knowlegeable people in nitro racing.

You'll like it
