thanks for the open arms guys. the one big thing that helped me make my decision was reading the review of the buggy in rc car action. i dont recall reading about anything bad about the buggy. for the buggy, im going to be using the picco p7-r evo2.

If you using a 28 engine your setup will differ(hence why I moved away from 28's) 28 engine with my setup will make the front tyres baloon, thats why they recommend 20 for the centre.

The secret IMO is use a good 21 engine for your truggy, use a setup that you like on your buggy and just go slightly thicker with the centre diff oil.
ex My buggy I use 7-7-2, truggy 7-10-3, same engine in both.
Aslo I used the Jammin wheel extenders for the truggy. This wayI can run with GRP 40 profile rims and tyres. This made a big difference. I suggest first get the GRP wheels. I use the cubics. This should make you faster without any other changes.
geezzz... i missed this post. thanks jerserboy.
thats a valid reason for changing to 21 engine. i've tried a few laps with my sts 21B on the truggy X1... i loved what i see. but thats on asphalt. now time to change diff oil. and get it on real dirt. thanks again. this deserve to be in the blog

Check in the painting section.. Or even just go to a Local vinyl shop, they can do whatever size you need, colour, and even Font.... If you took them in something that said Jammin' on it, they could scan it, use that font for the Jammin' and Jeff could be in the same or a different font.... That is probably your best and cheapest bet, shouldnt cost you more then 10 bucks at most. If you are having trouble finding one, I have a buddy that owns a vinyl shop in florida, PM me I'll have him do it up get me a price, and you can paypal me and ill mail it to you.... Let me know.

Here is some pics I just fitted the new PBS to my Jammin. Must say it goes together well. Check out the amount of steering. Our riders are having the first nationals for the year and they are confident doing well using the new PBS. I will let you know how they did.

For this conversion you will have to use the upper block supplied as the existing one does not work. The kit comes with everything needed.
I did not even have to change my ride height as its the same as with the C-hub.

Default New Airfilter design

You guys must just say if I babble on too much, I just like sharing info

Check out this new filter design.
You know with the basic filters you always get some dirt coming through the foams after a hard day of dusty racing. Well My supplier has had this filter designed by Q-world.
Check this. The filter is completely enclosed from the front where you always ride into the dirt. The thinking here was dirt cannot do 90 deg turn but air can. So the filter is open from the back only succking air into the the filter, there is a single foam element inside that fits inside its moulding.
Ive been using it and there is no power restriction due to bad air intake, also the dirt still gets in but I havent found any dirt actually penetrating the foam and into the carb.
So if you guys are looking at a new filter, this is not bad.

I cannot comment on performance as I have yet to test on the track. I will give you my honest feedback if its better or not.
