No pics of me, but here are a few of my buggy since I'm kind of new around here. They are a little old, but a buggy is a buggy, right? Doesn't look much different now than it did then.

The first one was taken at Silver State in April and the other two were taken sometime earlier this year.

Jammin FTE, Lightweight chassis, Lunsford turnbuckles, Hitec 5955TG steering servo, etc, etc...

hey guys i just aquired a jammin x1cr pro. can someone point me to a site that has a kit setup sheet?

also, do i need the option rear toe blocks? or is 3 degrees all that you guys run? (it only came with 3 degress, not sure if they come with more blocks in the kit as standard). i do however have the plastic blocks, but would prefer to use the alloys

any small setup/build tips i need to know to make this car stronger/ better?

thanks.

SpeedBump57: Great pics, like the paintjob. Congrats on your results.

OK Now we know Tabushi and SpeedBump57. Ok I'll post one of myself and my buggy soon.

By the way, I have been struggling to keep my Crono under control. Last race meeting my car was all over the show. I was flipping the car crashing it and shock kept on coming loose from all the crashes. I couldnt figure out what was happening.
Anyways I couldnt rest until I was back on track. It turns out the engine is just too vicous to keep on the track. This crono RS5 is just wicked.
I eventually ended up using my exponential to bring the car under control. I am running -50% throttle exponential. I am able to go laps now without any mistakes.
This is such a big lesson for me. I think most engines out there is just too powerfull. Whats the point in getting a powerhouse then you have to struggle with setup to stay on the track. I have found that you can get away with most basic setups. Its when you add gobs of power that you loose it. Thinking how can you improve your setup.

I'm glad to hear they are keeping the price reasonable. I was thinking that if it was about $50-60 I'll probably give it a try. Over $100 and forget about it. So are you getting a pre-production version or something? It kind of sounds like this isn't really being released to the masses yet.
You should be able to get it from your local X1 dealer. I am a dealer so when the main ditributor orders something new I always get one to try first. Also we order before its released to the public.

Thanks Jerseyboy. I have to agree with the engine comment. Most of todays engines are just too much for the avarage racer and sooner or later we all figure it out. I always get a laugh when someone talks about their modded C6. The truth is most of us would do just fine with a OS RG or the Nova .21bf. The wow factor wouldn't be there but most would turn better lap times.

Jerseyboy, you might want to try a different carb restrictor.

I'll try a smaller restrictor and see if it helps. Ive seen your pic on your website, so when are you posting yours here?

Apparently Chad Bradley swears by the Mugen Greys. They are just to pricey for me to purchase. Are the Mugen greys worth the money. Why have you gone back to the red.
I also use the red.

Jerseyboy the two springs are very very close in rate. To be honest I switched to the grays because the set of red Jammin springs were not all the same length from the factory. The rears were almost 1/8 different in length. I talked to Chad about it mid season and he suggested to give the Mugen grays a try. To me the Mugen grays seemed to make the car just a tad more responsive. I sent my reds back to Ofna and they sent me a new set. About a month later I put the reds back on. What I found out was my lap times were a few 1/10ths of a second faster then what I was running with the grays. I am at a point now where every 1/10th counts so never switched back. The reds also seem a little better in the rough stuff. IMO since they are so closely rated it probably comes down to driving style.
