Aaron, ya, I saw the race results, Jay was running very well.....Mike had several nice 22 second laps in qualifying though, even a 22.6, Bobby Tillman and one other driver were the only others driver I saw with a 22 second lap.........I wonder how it would have went if Kortz stayed out after lap 1......Now that dude can wheel a buggy like a scalded dog. I saw him at Rc Pro getting his car sideways 5-6 feet before the turns, lap after lap, running almost a full second a lap faster then anyone else...but, staying running seems to be pretty important, LOL.........Jim

Jim, do you know if the Novak Super Sport speed control fits under either of the Illuzion B4 bodies? So far, the only body I've seen that does is the Proline C.P.
Sorry A-dub, I know that this is the ask Aaron thread...

David, I'm not really sure, the largest speed control i've seen in one is an early cyclone, but it didn't have the heatsinks on it. I would think if it fits under the CP then it should fit under ours, but can't be positive..........Can you E mai lme a pic of the car with the speedo installed and no body? I may be able to tell from that.....wedjim@cfl.rr.com.......Thanks, Jim

sofast, our 7.5 Illuzion will fit, as well other brands, we have had people say they fit the Mugen MBX5 Illuzion on as well, but I have not tried it myself....The 7.5 is a little wider then the stock body, the MBX5 is a little narrower looking them over........Jim, www.jconcepts.net

Some tanks are leaking around the swivel top. I'm not sure where the older tanks were breaking, because I haven't seen one personally.

Jim - What kind of updated tanks have they been shipping out? I just got one where the plastic wasn't very transparent; the plastic is thickly dyed white.

Psh, it's all good!

I'm running Kanai Edition II Sirios in my buggy right now. I just broke on in for the Nitro Challenge and Silver State race, and it's outta control fast. Stupid top and enough bottom to spin all four tires. It's awesome!

Default tank

Aaron my original tank cracked along the entire front of it after one heat. The new tank is the one you have which is more white in color. As far as it leaking air it is around the swival top because the screw won't tighten enough. I put some shoe goo around it and has worked great since.
Also got the captured hinge pins, along with the one piece motor mount the car looks and works sweet. The last two practice days I left and the car looked like I hadn't used it.

Aaron, if you meant me(Jim) I haven't sent in for a updated tank yet. Mine is the clear material, which my cause me grief down the road, especially since i'm on my second of the same design now. I'm going to get a chance any week now to call Ofna, .

On a good note, I did get my parts from Nitro House, those guys are awesome, shipped the way I wanted it and had everything in stock.......One peice engine mount, screw type hinge pins....

Maxy sent me my engine too today, that thing is sweeeet, Mega engine modded by Maxy's racing engine service...Gonna put it in and start the break in tomorrow. Racing sunday to try and sort it all out by our next state race...... Now if I ever get my truck parts i'll be all set......., Jim
