Is the Hyper7 the same as Hyper 8. I do not have local access to Hyper 7 spares. Mayber Hyper 8.
Also what about Kyosho SP2. I believe they have the best wear rate.

Smile Universals

They still have the light weight ones i think macnkitty2002.
I'm not sure how many people are buying htem though.
I've bought other upgrades like the rear alloy uprights which are fully sic.
Next i'm getting the alloy centre diff mounts for the CR & CRT.

Yes try the SP1 & 2 shafts also and the hyper8 ones.
Failing that Jerseyboy you could get some Hyper7 ones on ebay for sure.

Mine seem to last a 6 month season except the front centre one in the CRT.
It seems to flog out a lot faster due to the extra weight in the truggy.

Let me know if you find a better alternative please as i will be up for new ones in a month or two.

Hi guys, what are the differences between the X1CR PRO and the FTE apart from the thicker shock towers on the FTE? Does the FTE come with the big bore shocks?

Thanks,
Diesel.

HongNor products announces the X1-CR "Factory Team Edition" for the end of 2005. This is an up-to-date kit of what the factory team drivers use. The kit includes all the parts within the original X1-CR kit, with the addition of Captured Hinge Pins, Big Bore Shocks (13mm), 5mm CNC Shock Towers, Fiber Brake Disks and Billet Aluminum Front Lower "B" Suspension Mount.

and this is U.K FTE version..

-Big bore shocks to reduce damping fade on extreme terrain.
-5mm shock towers with more tuning options and for improved resistance to impact.
-Threaded captive hinge pins, less hassle (no e clips)and improved strength.
-Fiber glass brake discs, less problems with contamination from fuel/oil/debris.
-Lower alloy front suspension mount. The alloy mount improves the strength in the event of a heavy frontal impact.
-CNC Machined 7075 Aircraft Grade Alloy Chassis
-One piece billet engine mount.

For all you Jammin Nay sayers (I say that just because the title of this thread seemed a little negative), Taylor James just took 1st place in both buggy and truggy at the Futaba race in Bossier, LA last weekend. Check the pro level attendance, this race was no joke.

Taylors car doesn't have any secret or still in development parts. it's a team kit like you an I's and he puts that thing on the podium every where he goes.

I just built a new Mugen MBX5R and I still love that Jammin car.

I have just rewarded my Jammin with some more parts.
I have purchased for the next years racing a complete set of driveshafts Lightweight. The lightened chassis plate for the X1. Its machined more than the FTE plate.

I installed before last Sundays racing my new 23 degree CNC C-hub.
Came first in the B-mains, my son came second. Also Jammin. Hows that for a team. I must say I am very proud.

Check my baby.
I dont want any other buggy. Its X1 all the way
