Default diffs

I have been useing 777 diff gears in my X1 diffs so far no prob ,777 $5 X1 $15 you make the call. I think 777 will fit but you may have to put the large bev gear of the X1 diff on the 777 diff i think they run diff ratio. I also run the new lite kyosho spur gear on my X1 diff . And am trying the hyper 8 centre alloy dog bones which a guy at our club has been running for a while, very lite and much cheaper than unis if your on budget.

Guys,

Just received a call from Chile (my country) where 3 guys bought Jammins FTE's (my recommendation) about 4 weeks ago ... but this last weekend all 3 had the same problem (different days) ... the 3 ended broken the carbon fiber part that hold the front bulkhead with the rest of the chassis.

But the strange part is that the 3 of them when looked the broken part, founded that the screws that hold the fron bulkhead under the chassis (the rear ones of the front bulkhead) were loose or missing ...

Anyone here having chassis bulkhead screws loose ?, at least (knock on wood) nothing of that happened to me yet ...

thanks in advance for any info ...

So far i have had only the one rear screw on the bulkhead underneath loosen it self twice, both times from a cracked bulkhead....

I have never ever broken a carbon top plate before though......

i haven't had any of my bulkhead screws come loose because i put a dab of Shoo-goo on them when i install them. i never broke my carbon front brace, but i still got one from King Heads just to be safe....and it looks trick too.

If you mean the screws where the carbon plate goes onto the steering posts then i use blue locktight to make sure they never come loose.
I've also never broken or even cracked the carbon plate and i've had some ripper crashes.
I have seen them break or crack on the CRT though as it is a heavier vehicle.
There is an alloy CNC plate upgrade available but they shouldn't need it.

Nope, its the under-chassis ones, the 2 on the back of the bulkhead, just where the chassis bends up on its shape ...
