I did hear something about this but i thought they did a recall and fixed them.
I hope so as it will be here next week from Dinball in Hong Kong.
I only paid $299US for it so if i need to put ceramics in it that's ok.
Where can i fin the TKO Ceramic Bearings for the best price?

tlxxx4driver - My X1-CR is the Malang Edition which doesn't come with Big Bore Shocks and Fibre Brakes but it does come standard with the 1 Degree Anti Squat Plate.
You will find it makes the car less likely to spin out on power.
I have gone to a 2 Degree for our track and it works great but the 1 Degree was better for Jumping.

RcRacing:

The best deal is to get them straight thru TKO Competition Development.

TKO Competition Development

TKO bearings are of the best quality.....In the few hundred thousand they've sold, no problems or failures have been recorded. TKO bearings are even used in all of the EBMods modified engines.

I don't know if you use PayPal or not, but if you don't, feel free to PM me- I'll get you in touch with Peter Martin to setup another payment method.

i am new to nitro and was wondering if a RB Concepts WS7II "X3". is a good dependable and long lasting motor?

or will the P5X be a better buy?

thanks

Both are very good engines and will last as long as you make them last. If you are truly new to nitro I would recomend something like the OS RG until you get a understanding of tunning these little beasts and taking care of them. The last thing you want to do is burn up a $300 engine. You can find the RG for about $110.

i have been running a hyper 21 race for 5 weeks now and can tune that 3 needle to keep the heat down to 220-230 with the help of the club guys. and have been useing after run oil. so i have the taking care of the motor down. im just looking for a dependable strong motor with great torque from low through high in the power band. i heard the p5x is the motor to get. and another guy told me to get a ws7II but i no nothing about the different motors out there.

"Dependable strong motor with great torque"

P5X

Having said that the WS7's are one of my favorite engines but the P5's do have more torque and yes I have run both.

I got a gallon and a half through my Plus 5 before the rear bearing went out. I bought an STS and so far it seems to be just as fast at half the cost. At $200 you can't get a better motor any cheaper.
