Hinge pins:where do I get the threaded style hinge pins? Noticed clutch bell is slightly rubbing the center brace w/ 13 tooth clutch bell.

Make sure your motor is straight..I haven't noticed any rubbing *shrug*

The Farm in South Carolina has the threaded hinge pins. Any hobby store with OFNA stuff can order the new parts!

Ofna says hinge pins are on back order, if you can point me to where they are available, i would appreciate the help. Couldn't find a phone # to the farm.

chrlie, I got them from the guys at Superior Hobbies, 407-834-9299. They were from novarossi or RB I think, in a bag made for shimming clutches specifically. They may have them somewhere on E bay, or from Ace or Nitrohouse also.........Jim

Default Brake cams sticking on the X1 Pro

My brake cams are sticking causing the brakes to remain applied. I tried removing the cams and putting a drop of oil on the pin at the end of the cam that goes into the hole that holds the cam and that resolves the problem for a short time but the problem returns rather quickly (a few races). I can remove all the linkage and manually actuate the brake cams and the cams get stuck causing the brakes to remain applied.
Anyone care to offer a permanent solution? Aaron?

I had the same problem, Just gotta adjust the linkages the right way or tighten down the nuts that hold on the brakes all the way and back them off until they dont brake. That way the the linkage wont have to move as much to brake the car. I'd throw the stock brakes far away and invest in cradocks.

Noticed our brakes are wanting to do this also. Hasn't done it while driving though. Is anyone using different pads than stock, ifso where are they avaliable?

I played with tightening the nuts that hold the brakes and that solved the problem (at least for now). The manual calls for a 12mm spacing but I found that anything beyond 11.5 mm will allow the problem to occur. It appears that the cams are allowed to rotate too far and get stuck on the back side of the cam. I think you'll have to continually readjust as the pads wear.

WHERE CAN I GET CRADOCKS?

They sell them at www.amainhobbies.com. Get the ones for the MBX5 they require less modifying. They dont make them for the X1 yet so you gotta dremel out the center, use the old disc's as templates.

Do you know where I can get them? Do you have a part #?
The "Stock Parts" page at ofna.com says "Last update 6-3-03"! Obviously, I won't find any X1 Pro specific parts there!
