Well I assure you I didn't know any of that when I praised your store a few posts ago so you got a spontaneous un-directed evaluation. Jon is the one who responded by email, like 5 minutes after I wrote and your the guy the shipped the packs 5 minutes after opening on monday. Great teamwork guys !

it is not at the carb. it is the ball cup for the rear brake. the cup is to close to the diff plate. i do not see any way for that linkage to work.

dido, just bend the little rod with the ball on it up(rear brake) or down (frnt brake) till the ball cap clears the diff plate.

Jared's right Dido just bend them till they work. I had to bend the ones on my FTE to get them to my liking, its not uncomon at all.

Touché!

i always put a little bit of silicon oil in all of my ballcups to make them operate that much more freely. try popping the ballcup on the ball end and use a heat gun to make it form to the ball.

Dido, I have that on my throttle servo as well. I just unscrewed the ball cups from the servo horn and use the linkages the kit came with. The one I have the ball cups & levers were plastic and you coulden't really bend them.

I've got to say I order most of my stuff from Carolinas RC and have never had any problems. The site is also easy to navigate so you can find what you looking for quickly. Two thumbs up.

dido: The linkages do take a bit of bending to work just right. It's more than likely the rear linkage, huh?

macnkitty: Don't you think that'd make the cup pop off more easily? I agree that they were very tight when new, but it only took one race day to loosen them right up. The heat gun tip is great, but like I said, it only takes 1 race day to loosen everything up.

DRKWING: Glad to hear it.

Are you talking about the steering ball cups that go from the ackerman to the knuckle? They have a circle on one side that is supposed to go up on the knuckle and down on the ackerman. If you reverse them the bind up and pop off more easily.

Savagesynth, do know when you will get the new jammin aluminum center diff mounts in? It is the upgraded one on www.hongnor.com.tw

The OFN49030 center diff mount should be here Late May-Early June, along with the new OFN40607 CNC Ackermann and OFN40608 CNC Top Plate.

We should also be getting some XRAY TQ kits soon!

Also, for those that are interested:

You can PRE-ORDER your Losi Eight buggies by using this link:

Losi Eight

The Buggies are expected to arrive July 31. Just a head's up for those that want to reserve one.
