as for fiber disc pads you use just steel pads ..
If you are already braking then there is no power only momentum. ???

Default sticking brakes

I have the same problem with my stock brakes sticking. I tried putting diff oil on the springs between the pads but it seemed to stick more. But i'll try to add diff fluid on the cam and back of the pads and let everyone know.

Anyone else have any suggestions on a fix? I've lowered my brake travel on my radio to a point where it won't stick any longer but braking was significantly reduced. Has anyone shaved the threads off the screws that hold the pads or use a different brand (maybe kyosho or mugen) screw that doesn't have threads?

Brakes are such a Pain in the A$$, I have mine working great now but I have the fiber disc's and steel pads. I could never seem to get them working right when I had the stock setup or the metal fiber pads. After hours and hours of tinkering I got them working but never great. I would say try whatever you think will work and don't be afraid of the dremel.

Mac-n-Kitty, I have a buddie who had the brake pad sticking problem. He took some Knuckle Arm bushings from a Touring Car and dremeled out the pads to were the bushing fit perfectly and said it solved the problem because the Bushing slid very easily on the pad achor bolt. He didn't remember which bushings he got though.

do you think that there is a bearing the same size as the bushing?

I don't think they make bearings that small. I think the Bushings were from a T3 or T4 touring car.

a bearing would serve no purpose as it would not spin. it would just be getting pulled side to side, so a bushing would be better

Aaron do you know if the shock boots on the factory team car are available seperate. The part listing lists the whole shock.
Those will last way better than what came on the pro car.

schmelme I have been using ballons for about two years with no problems. You can get 100 ballons in four different colors for about 3 bucks. They are the ballons you can twist up to make different shapes.

Hi Guys !

Appreciate if anyone could help enlighten me on the X1-CR latest news...

I've seen a 2nd version of shocks with the rear shocks longer than the 1st edition. And for the latest, Jammin came out with the Big Bore shocks.

Question is, is whether the Big Bore shock (this is the latest i assume...) rear shock length followed the 2nd edition shocks or it went back to the same length as the 1st version ?

Many Thanks !
