For bashing LX-1 hands down. And they just came out with an updated version so parts will "somewhat" be more available....depending on your LHS and such.

I've always known Jammin' to be a more beginner racer friendly platform.

Just my .02

No contest, the X1X is a pretty good race car in my opinion. It has the big bore shocks and spiral cut gears.

Jammin Jay is gone and the few Jammin's around are bashers with .28 engines. For support and etc. get the OFNA LX2. It also has a .28 engine, and a 145cc tank which is not strictly race legal, but fun to bash. For what ever it's worth, it does have 16mm shocks.

The Ultra LX-2 has nothing to do with Jammin. The model is distributed by OFNA, and is made by Hong Nor.

The LX-2 is a good basher and can be track worthy to a certain extent, the .28 engine comes in both cars and has tons of power by far the best RTR engine out there. Lx-2 would need some upgrades to work in harder conditions like metal gear servos. that would make the car turn better and hold the corner speed and also give it even better stopping power with the fiber brakes.

X1X- better geometry with longer travel, it has a tighter turn ratio and way more tuning setups to the car, lots of upgrades can be made to the car to turn into an overall pro car. I myself have been driving my X1 buggy and have fun driving it.
