Default Sportwerks Turmoil a good car?

I may be buying a Sportwerks Turmoil with a Spektrum DX2 radio. From what I've read this is an older car, but durable (although parts no longer made for it). Iit would be my first step in to the world of 1/8th scale nitro. The guy wants 200 for it, I'm just wondering if this is still a decent buggy for a decent price for a beginner.

Please don't buy that car!!!! as soon as you break a part it's over. It's like paying $200 dollars for a car to play with for a week then our money is GONE. If money is an issue, save for a little while longer and buy an OFNA LX or any current entry level 1/8th scale with parts that's availble....

For 200 you can get something different that has parts support. I had the Turmoil, great buggy but the parts have dried up for it.

I actually got one of these on a deal i couldnt refuse. I got a tormoil, xtm xt2 buggy, xtm mammoth mt, a box of bodies, a tool box with tools, temp guages, ignitors, spare parts, a roller box full ofnparts and more tools and a couple engines and a bunch of tires 3 transmitters( one is a dx2), a box of silk screened bodies with 3 clear bodies. It is a good car but for 200 you can do better. I sold mine with motor for 100. Look around for a better deal. I sold mine because the parts were drying up quick. sounds like the guy is over valueing the car a little.

The deal that I got, the Turmol is actually my old one. It does need an upper front arm and a lower arm. I been looking but havent foimd any yet on ebay or evem a few stores. I think some mayhem parts fit but not 100% positibe yet.

The problem with that car is, if you fall right onto the arms they break
because they just rest on the arm outer extremities, not on the whole arm inner part like normal cars do
so you have to find a reserve of arms...
