So recently I introduced my G/F to the world of R/C. I purchased her an electrix stadium truck so she could bash around. She really enjoys it too.

However... The sneaky vixen she is....

I arrived home today to find an Exceed R/C 1/5th Scale 30cc Wild Bull.


Needless to say I was completely astonished and overjoyed with the gift. I wanted to share my story with the forums. I hope each of you find a girl as I did. Good luck and keep truckin

Thanks everyone she really is a keeper. Doubt she's going on a shopping spree. I just bought her a BMW 325i last month, it's an '04 but only has 62k miles and she specifically wanted the 5spd. She fell in love after driving my '06. So she likes R/C and drives a stick.

We do live in BG, I work for the local Toyota dealer as a tech but recently graduated WKU with a Sociology/Criminology degree. Sadly turning a wrench pays way more.

Have you tried getting her a little basher? At first my g/f wasnt thrilled about it. But we started spending time doing it together and now she loves it. We typically walk a 1.5mile gravel trail with our toys and a pocket of packs. Usually we go through 2 5000mah 2s lipos and 6 3000mah nimhs during the walk. Just a suggestion.

As for cops not making any money, it's true. But I never wanted to do it for the cash. Our city cops start @ 37k plus they're paid OT. A buddy of mine on the force clears about 1400/bi weekly. But me turning a wrench is a bit more. Helps I work for a dealership too.

Heck were slow today and it's raining, she just showed up with my slash so I could play in the parking lot.

That is because she isn't interested in it, and it draws your focus and money away from her. Or that has been my experience at least. Might be why i never married..
