Unfortunately, there's no way for us to know when a final decision will be made.

Ultimately, you have to do what's best for you. If that means selling your vehicles and parts to folks who are planning to keep their OD rigs, then that is your choice, and no one will think badly of you your doing it.

Personally, I'm going to keep running my truggy, but also exploring other options as they come up. If it ends up that the O'Donnell vehicles do go away, I'm likely going to box my stuff up for my son to race in the kid's class when he gets older (assuming he wants to run something nitro ).

The bigger question in my mind at the moment is what I'd want to run next if the OD vehicles go away?

I run the JQ and have been very happy with it
same central driveshafts, sort of parts and as easy to work on
just the rear is less stable but you get more steering

Honestly, I think its pretty obvious there aren't going to be anymore rc rollers coming from O'Donnell. Once the old stock is cleared out, thats it. I myself was going to grab an O'Donnell roller, but from experience when stock like this gets cleared out with no word from the owner directly concerning the split(and no, I do not believe the "court order" issue since making a statement about future products has no bearing on current issues at hand)shows that a specific portion of the business is done.

Anyone holding out hope of a new O'Donnell roller or rc products, I wouldn't hold your breath. Those who have em and are on the fence about dumping them, I would do it while you still can and get get halfway decent money for em and look into another roller with good parts support.

in my opinion seeing o donnell has a well sought after reputation in the rc industry i dont think they would just flush all the o donnell driver s(and vehicles) in the toilet . . . . . guessin have to be patient and see what happens

That's pretty much been my position from the beginning. I can understand folks getting worried / impatient though.

The SG buggy had finally evolved into a very competitive platfom, and I was hoping the truggy was soon to follow. It would sure be a waste if the demise of the vehicle line was collateral damage to the separation.

Regardless of vehicles though, I'm pretty sure that the different lines of O'Donnell accessories for the various brands won't be going away any time soon.

I see your point for all owners not knowing its very hard and disappointing people work hard for their money now the RC owners are stuck cant race W/O parts. OD should make a statement his customers deserve it for sure it would say a lot ODwill lose a lot of followers all the way around since people will always question. Even thou its a hard situation think about all the people effected not just him
