No, but I'm just saying that it's been long enough that a new one wouldn't be bad if it's a big enough improvement. It would be cool if they would do a $50-$75 upgrade kit where you could convert your 2.0 to 3.0 if there aren't too many changes, maybe front end, steering, radio tray.
but I could see them doing a 3.0 with a new radio tray, chassis, steering, front c-hubs, aluminum split center diff mount, vented shock caps with foam, body, aluminum rear gearbox inserts, stuff like that.

It seems to me like they could have just put the battery up front and the reciever in the rear like everyone else. Would have done the same thing.

I don't see the need for a new buggy when losi is in the top ten in every big race competing with those "new thech" buggies. I will buy the upgrades if the improvement is very noticeable. Note a side, Tebo,Pavidis and Cody move the battery to the front same location for better handling, losi is movin both servos to the front, kind of doing the same pattern. Just wonder how much improvement you can get out of a buugy that can be in rails with the right set up.

That's it... I heard they were testing a proto tray, but not a new car... but ya never know! Casey seems to "test" all the cool stuff before it comes out, it seems like he had the 4 wheel SCT forever.

I'm at the 2011 Gas Nats and I looked over the new changes pretty well. The cars look fantastic and I spoke with one of the drivers about some of them yesterday. I won't name names in case that gets someone in trouble.
He said the new tray puts the weight further forward (obviously), it is also easier on throttle servos (which will make it easier for Losi noobs to learn since they don't set them right and burn them out), the new steering rack helps smooth out the steering, he was also running the EU front tower and 10 degree inclined spindles- HOWEVER there were differences in those pieces too that I can't really describe. I'm sure all of the details will be available soon.
This is exciting and I'm sure Losi/ TLR will have a great car for us just like the great car they already have for us!!!
I'm hoping for all new car as far as fully race ready goes. I'd like it to have all of the bells on it and be ready to go to a National. Make a 3.0 RTR as well that is more basic and we're all happy. "hopups" are fun.. but I'd rather just have the car have all of the goodies in the kit and I'll build it up ready to go from day one.
OH and p.s. California is realllllly nice!
