No engine or servos. A remote should be in there for 600 plus chassis.

your 600 is about equal to our 1200 NZ dollars.
new rolling chassis here is about 700-1000 nz dollars, so it doesn't leave you much for engine, servos and radio gear.
to buy good gear all new you'll need to spend about 1000 pounds which is way above your budget

i would look at a near new buggy ,servo and a good 2nd radio then you'll have enough cash for a new motor...something like an GO GX7R or alpha 5+2. about 125-150 pounds... combo packs are goodas they come with a pipe that will suit the engine.

there are good deals out there, starterbox and tyres also could be had if someone is selling up and getting out of nitro.

I've been racing mugen for years, the cars are very good quality, a good 2nd hand one here goes for 400 nz so thats only 200 pounds.

I recently bought the losi 2.0 buggy kit. Starter box,servos,engine,pipe,4 sets of mounted tires, lipo receiver battery and lipo transmitter battery, lipo charger,2 bodies w/paint,wing, set of f/r a arms,12 degree incline carriers and spindles, dean connectors, fuel, extra set of driveshafts, axles w/bearings,air filters, two batteries for the starter box. I had the radio and receiver 2.4 airtronics M11. I am near $2000.00 and still spending. It's not a cheap hobby.I am well over my budget.

Mugen MBX6 M-Spec 470
Graupner XS6 transmitter 0
Engine 120
Servos 90

That should be possible and pretty cheap as well. Think I might be going down this route. Forgot all about the XS6 alltogether!

If I end up paying customs things might get pretty expensive. Buggys in the US are so dirt cheap (MBX6 is 130 cheaper in the US) but if customs find out that I import a car I might end up paying 280 more I guess.

Will check for the M-Spec. The new EU 2011 version doesn't interest me. For me the M-Spec will be nice.

The XS6 must be a couple of years old now

Thanks Jud.

Over here in the US we cant buy the EU2011, maybe on EBAY, the EU car comes with a lot more up grades. I was thinking about getting the M-Spec but went with the Losi 2.0 kit and really glad.

Tbh as a beginner the M-Spec is overkill so I don't bother with the 'better' EU version. Hard to justify 500 chassis only for a beginner but I've been buying cheap and twice than once and good.

Glad to be of assistance The 6 is not expensive to maintain and is ready out the box. No upgrades needed. You get a set of premounted tires and an upgrade body kit included. Its a lot cheaper than other kits. If you need any help with basic setups send me a pm or go to the MBX6 forum.
