Its better yes to balance tires. Think about driving your car daily with out balanced tires and go drive it and feel how bad the car shakes and how it hinders its performance and not to mention the wear it will do to the bearings ect.. I mean its pretty much the same thing on a buggy or truggy unbalanced tires will wear parts quicker and in some cases not jump correct. But it can really be felt on a truggy more so then buggy...

dont balance a new set, run a tank or two before you balance them so that everything sets and all. especially with truggy... they could be unbalanced after you run them if you balance them brand new.

I just wish some of the companies out there would release some of the Buggy tires for a truck. I.E., Proline Recoils or AKA Impacts/ Enduro's for a truck would br friggin sweet.
I understand some of the tread would change making it into a bigger tire but the baseline idea/ tread design would be the same.
For example, the Caliber is a directional tire for buggy/truck but it is not for the SC???

If there is demand, there will be supply
Hope your wish will be heard
