I just put enough grease to coat the entire gear after I rotate it a few times when it's installed in the diff case. You want them greased, but not caked in grease.

A drop about the size of a pea.. Then work the dog bone around to distribute the grease.. Then mount and use as normal. I would suggest, but it is not needed, CVD boots, it will help the life of your CVDs..

According to the instruction sheet, you should fill the diff case to the top of the crossed pins with diff oil, not grease. if you have no idea what you want the car to do -or limited funding- just get 5,000 weight oil and fill them all with it.
7-7-3 or 5-5-2 (front-mid-rear in thousands) are the weights commonly recommended for this buggy
