just opened my new SC8 :D

but theres a part included that I have no idea what it is...heres some pics...any ideas?:confused:

It goes on the flux capacitor.

whats it really for? it looks like it would just take up space in there....
looking directly into the tank and directly beneath the opening theres a post with a hole in it which looks like this part would screw directly to....but I dont see the significance of it...is it really just to help lessen sloshing?
