I dont care about that but I was accused of copying it. I just wanted to clarify it.

LOL, actually exact words where....."local vet out of work and money", i do agree michigan has no jobs but if you did that here you would be in jail! but did see on the news when i was there they are trying to make it a law that you cant do that in florida. anyways................ frank L was just asking a question, no need for the hate.

Just kiddin' man, I sure don't want to see anyone out of work and I can't say I am fond of the Panhandlers either.

Interesting thread, personally I very rarely ask for setup or tuning advice simply because I enjoy the challenge and learning curve, the setting of a goal and striving to reach that goal, that doesn't mean I don't listen to or take advice or help, just prefer to figure things out myself. I will research threads here and elseware, there is a tremendous amout of information out there if you take the time to look for it and there is no reason anyone cannot learn the ins and outs of R/C, from what I see most tend to make it a lot harder than it really is. Now the driving part is something else, that is where I struggle but I keep trying and believe that I am improving, just started late in life. If its worth doing its worth putting the work in to make it happen.

I agree move on if this thread isnt for you.

I think Frank was asking a question and I could see a use for that service. I think you will have a better take rate locally than on a national scale.

I learn something new every time at the track. Knowledge is power. You try to help everyone but a one on one with local help maybe could work.

Everyone that says they help, ask yourself if you really do? Time is precious and we can only do our best but trial and error vs real help as a newbie or mid pack.

Would be worth a few bucks to me also.

Frank is good peeps...Im not flaming and see no reason why anyone should be getting drama going over this, nothing wrong with a man running an idea by some guys.....just sharing my .2 cents here

NO...I wouldnt pay for help.....Pay for help???? uhhh....those two words dont mesh well with my personal demeanor. IMO this hobby is about hanging out and helping eachother out. I am good friends with the most prominent rc guru in the St Louis area, he's always a phone call away and I value his friendship dearly. I have been helped tremedously by a few sponsored drivers around here, free tires, free parts, free fuel, only because they are representing their sponsors in a professional manner and helping, willingly helping for free! Im not chassis sponsored, I try to avoid the stress and drama, BUT.....it would be nice to be for one reason......I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE WHEN AND WHERE I CAN, I dont think it should be something to ask for something in return for, let alone a mans hard earned few bones.....JMO guys

I wonder why there are so many non factory sponsored drivers? I think it has something to wolith helping people out. We have a great bunch of sponsored drivers here that would bend over backwards to help anyone out. I have seen Truhe stop wrenchin on his stuff to help a follow racer out. I have had them drive my car around to help me with set up or finding problems. I think in a big part this is what they are there for.
On thing I always thought about the hobby is the brotherhood. Here no matter what problems you may encounter at a race someone would have what you need to run. No one ask for money. Help is always free. The Losi guys are some ofthe best at doing what they can to help you run and or get better. IMO this service of paying for advice you can get from almost all team drivers for free maybe a beverage is not needed.
