Losi, there is like nothing worse then OFNA the motor will go bad really fast. Both will need a few upgrades probably. Go with the Losi.

Hyper 7 is a tough SOB, the engine is not a top notch, but witch kit is 10 out of 10, no one. You can puch the Hyper 7 very hard. For what I see you don't even have a 8th scale,

Default hyper 7

go hyper 7 it is tuff never broke any suspesion parts after 4 years. Put the steering servo on the throttle and buy a good servo for steering.Take the pull starter off and and use the bumpbox plate and use starter box. the motor works great and comes to life. I wish some of the new buggys were this tuff.
Cant go wrong for a cheap rtr.

I raced a Hyper 7 my first year of racing and man them things are built like a Tank never broke anything the first year of race and that is saying a lot for a buggy when it never brakes and you drive like a crazy man like i did my first year.

I am with all the other guys get the hyper 7 and do just as fun hawg 1 said and you will be good for your first year of racing.

I like Losi and all, I also race TLR 8, but Losi 810 ain't proper 8th scale, therefore not even class legal so if you want to race with 8th scale buggies, there's no other way than Hyper 7. Have owned it too and it's one good (if not perfect) buggy for beginner.
