Questions?? Opinion on converting to solid center diff? At least temporarily?

I am jonesing to get my Ten-T back in the dirt and with a blown rear diff and the inability to get diff gears now until June (according to Whorizon) I am thinking about dropping my center diff gears in the rear and filling the center diff case with epoxy to lock it up and throwing it back in the truck. At least until the diff gears are back on the market again.

Is there any particular reason why this would be a bad idea? I couldn't think of anything other than it might wear my clutch shoes a little prematurely and possibly strip a diff gear, which I have spares of.

Thanks for any input!

I don't think it should be a problem, it's a light truck. And when a XXL can live without a center diff, why not.

Dude, you're a life saver. I had been checking eBay and nothing was listed. This is epic, just ordered me up one.

THANK YOU!

You sir are CORRECT! Can't wait, guess I'll be stripping down the Ten-T tonight in preparation for the new diff to arrive. Great googly moogly!
