Default Panther Talon 1/8 buggy tires???? Opinions??

Anyone tried them? They look similar to the proline calibers and aka citiblocks which are both really good tires for me. Just wondering if anyone has tried these tires and can tell me what they think of them compared to the calibers and citiblocks?

I just saw these for the first time and was wondering. I am considering buying a set to try but figured Id see if there were any opinions on them before plunking the cash down. Nothing worse than spending the money on new tires only to find out they don't work well and wind up being useless. But just looking at these they seem like they should be pretty good considering similar design tires work well for me.

Anyone try these yet?

Just buy them is all I can say. You'll never know unitil you try them for yourself. They will perform similar to the caliber and city block. I run them on dusty outdoor tracks or when it's moist with very little loam.

Awesome is all I can say. Have been using them for a year now. Great side and forward bite as well as good life!

I tried these tires last year at a pro-series race and they worked awesome. There are two options on mounting them, either for more or less forward bite, just like the calibers.

Talon is a great tire under the right conditions.... be sure that you have them mounted the right way one way gives you more steering.... one pin forward is the way you want them for more steering

Your local hobby shop can get Panther products through the larger distributors. The pricing on Panther's web site is higher to encourage you to just buy from your local hobby shop.

Wow. Thanks for all the feedback guys. Sounds like everyone likes them in at least some track conditions. I have always liked the Komodo and K2 panther tires outside when it gets dry so I figured I would give these a try.

Good to see some Panther info online. Use to be a big following and threads on several sites. Always liked their products....just have not seen the info or chat about them much online lately.
