+1 to every 4 races or gallon of fuel. Seems to be about the same for me. The fluid will break down over time and it can look good but it will not perform the same so it needs to be changed as above.

So is the issue it breaks down and therefore changes the handling, or that it damages gears etc?

I'd say it is more of the oil breaking down and changing the handling than the gears wearing out

i change mine everytime i have to taake the car apart for something else.Like control arm, or something (which is almost everytime i start it
