Default help ???

have always raced on road nitro
thinking of getting into off road
any suggestions on trucks
i'm looking at the hpi savage xl ???
any good?

There is no class for MT anymore. If you want to race, buggy should be first choice followed by Truggy.

You need to go with a buggy or truggy. Monster trucks have gone bye bye for racing.

MT's sometimes run at club races. But I wouldn't be caught dead with one.

what about a good basher
lets forget racing for now
and it also seems like everyone is going electric now why ?

Not where i am, more nitro buggys each month, but if thats happening where you live i would imagine for money purposes or noise reasons.

Electric is for people who want to enjoy the competition of racing without having to do any of the work, tuning, or maintenance required for Nitro. It's pretty much plug and play, but to me having some knowledge of tuning and clutch set up and the noise involved with Nitro racing is where all the fun comes from.
