Default Losi 1/8 Truggies..Just how much better is the 2.0 than the 1.0?

So I have been digging and digging to find out just how much better the Losi 2.0 Truggy is over the 1.0 Truggy. I am running into small details about this change is better and that change is better but nothing in real detail.. I even tried to find videos on YouTube that show the two racing against each other and after several pages I can't find any.. So my question is directed to those of you that own, or have owned both.. How much better is the 2.0? I ask because I just recently got into 1/8 scale Truggy racing (I am new to RC Racing in general) and built up a 1.0 because it was cheaper.. But I have been loosing sleep over wondering about weather or not the 2.0 is far superior or not.. In equally capable hands, with the same engine, which one wins and by how much?

I think the 2.0 is just easier to be fast with.. one guy i know with a 1.0 that has been driving for years, got his buddy into it and he got the 2.0 RTR. He said almost right off the bat he was keeping up. and it was his first racing RC.

I moved from the 1.0 Tuned Flex to the 2.0 TF on my buggy and it cut about 1.5 seconds off my lap times consistently. You can drive it a hell of a lot harder and stays planted like a magnet.

Short answer: MUCH BETTER! Long answer: MUCH BETTER! It is a totally different machine. Handles the bumps better, accelerates better, jumps better, turns better, is more durable... All around better. If you're racing you will notice much faster/more consistent laps with the 2.0. If you're just messing around, they will both do the job.

i, ran my 1.0 t last year its actually competive in club racing level with the right driver i was racing right with the 2.0 t but i did have to drive it somewhat hard to keep up the flex chassis made a hugh diffrence !

i have switch now to the associated truggy so its a back up.

but yes by looking at the 2.0 t it looks a lot better than the 1.0 t on the track.

It's a completely new car just like comparing a 1989 F150 to a 2011 F150. Bigger, stronger, faster!!!

I went from jammin x2 to 1.0 and love it. I got a 2.0 update kit off eBay, if it's better I should be the
Fastest one on the track LOL. I say stay with the 1.0 and drive it and slowly buy the parts to do the conversion.

Stay away from Dragon Racing chassis, they don't compare to losi flex chassis.
