Default ofna red lpr truggy foams?

has anyone tried these on lpr size wheels, they seem like there really small and after i get em on the tires are bowed up too far and are too round. could these be cut out in center or would they come apart?

I use the Red OFNA LPR foams on LPR rims to mount my grass tyres.

They are so tight to get on the rims, I have torn one

But I stretch the tyres over the rims tight before glueing. You can see the finished product here http://www.radiorally.org.au/forum/v...p=28547#p28547

I'm assuming you're using Proline LPR tyres?? If you are the profile should be OK. I would not try to cut foam out of the inside or outside diameter.......it will cause the tyre to become loose at speed.

But I do use 40's in my LPR tires becasue you would not have to stretch them over the wheel and have a flat contour on the surface of the tire.

Damn this doesn't sound good. I have 2 full sets of ofna red foams waiting at the hobby shop. I thought the 38's would be compatible with aka 3.7" rims for truggy. I bought Panther Raptors and can't even come close to getting the bead to the rim because foams that come with them are huge. Did i waste my money?
