I have yet to see a buggy/truggy that the OFNA truggy box wouldn't work with.

It truly is one of, if not the best, starter boxes on the market.

I've had mine for almost 3 yrs now and I'm still on the original motors and belt.
I've changed out the wheel and bearings once, last year.

Money well spent.

So are the majority of OFNA box users using one battery or two? Does the box have to be modified to use a single pack only?

Thanks

almost everyone uses the OFNA blue truggy box for everything, buggy and truggy. works great and last forever... i have used them on many buggies and truggies. two is the best way to go if your running 2 classes.

you need no mods... one 4S LiPo is what most use. i use two 2S LiPos because i had two i wasnt using for anything. i velcro mine in the box so they dont move around but most dont do that.

I replaced all the orginal wiring with 12guage wire and soldered directly to the motor tabs, removing the switch as well. Next time the contact switch plays up i will put a relay in. Running a 4s 2800mah lipo instead of the 12v lead acid battery.

I use two high quality 3000 stick packs which give more power than a 12v sla as the voltage is higher, I find it will last 4 race days no worries at all without charging

One other thing i love about using the sticks is it keeps the box super light and makes it easy to carry with one hand when car is on top
