I was standing at the Tech table when they brought up TP's car. Erin, Joey's tech guy made them go Ask Joey and im pretty sure it was allowed in the end.

I bet you there is a rule change for that next year. They don't allow such "add-on" devices in most on-road classes. And they DO make a difference. There is nothing like a big ass side damn on a dirt oval car

Just watch out for the strong cross-winds and you had
better hope no one gets their hands sliced up marshalling
your car. The side wings on the body will most likely give
you more hang time in the air off of jumps, which isn't
going to help your lap times any.

actually i just taped a fin on my car. doesn't cost a thing and i actually think it looks kinda cool. i doubt it will make any difference but what if it does? a mod that doesn' cost a thing is a mod that's worth a try

The vertical shark type fin, like on most of the 2010 F1 cars, can be beneficial. It doesn't give you any more grip, just a bit of stability or time to catch the car after the rear end steps out. You may notice larger effects on lap times if you altar the downforce or balance of the body.

Taylor's Mugen car, ohhh man, he forgot to put linkages onto those plane flaps.

Very nice, I approve

The shark fin helps direct air onto the rear wing, in theory it'd help the rear end feel planted.
