Default stripped set screw question

Im no rookie in this hobby and stripped screws. But doing a rebuild and when I got to my center universals I ran into problems. Went to unscrew the 2mm set screws that attach the universals to the pinion gear and they are stripped. Any suggestions?

Next time heat them up first with a pin torch, but your past that now. You can try a very small stright screw driver that ...justfits when tapped in, heat the screw first, if that dont work ...get a new...sharp.. drillbit that fits...inside the hole thats stripped out and drill it out.

ouch, thats the hardest thing to get out when stripped. Use a bigger losi hex tool that might do the trick. If its tight just hammer it till it gets in. Heat first!!

go get yourself the Alden Grabit http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CD8Q8gIwBQ#

its got 3 sizes of two sided bits. one drill side and one side with teeth to remove the screw. they work great and the smallest one works for me on my CVD set screws. i highly recommend getting a set
